Slowly but surely, the eagles of ketas have stormed they're way into the finals of the National Science and Math Quiz competition. Some have described them as underdogs but from where I sit, the four times qualifiers could not be described as such. It's a beautiful brand new day and Dzolalians everywhere in the world are already jubilating over their recent milestone.
The champions of the volta region this year are poised to driving the trophy home. For many, this is the appointed time. This is the time for the trophy to cross the Sogakope bridge into the volta region.
Also refered to as lokpodzi University, Ketasco presents a very solid team going into the finals of the competition. In their last contest, they exhibited so much intelligence and control of the podium. Would they replicate same in the finals??? Only time would tell.
Bright, one of the contestants has expressed his focus on winning. He says " we did not come this far to be second "
This year, winning the trophy means beating six times winners and four times winners, Presec and Prempeh. Possible??? YES
BACKGROUND
Keta Senior High Technical School (Ketasco) formerly Keta Secondary School is a mixed Public Senior High School located at Dzelukope a town in the Keta Municipal District of the Volta Region, Ghana.[1] The school has a student population of about 3,515 and a teaching staff strength of 150 as at 2020. Ketasco is the biggest school in Volta Region and one of the biggest in Ghana. The motto of the school is DZO LALI with the slogan Now or Never. The Eagle at the main gate is to remind students to always be like the Eagle
